WellPet brings Traditional Chinese Acupuncture home to companion animals in West Travis County and Northern Hays County. Located in the between Dripping Springs and Bee Cave, near Austin, TX, we serve the areas surrounding Lakeway, Spicewood, Bee Cave and Dripping Springs, TX. We have many gentle, calming techniques, soothing essential oils and a high powered, cold laser / photobiomodulation for our most sensitive pets. For the more stoic pets and those with more severe disease, like IVDD, we offer electroacupuncture and aquapuncture to achieve stronger effects. Chinese herbs, essential oils and other natural supplements are recommended when appropriate to help pets between visits.

Our Founder
Dr Cristin McCamish began WellPet Integrative Veterinary Care as a mobile Veterinary Acupuncturist for companion animals in 2025. She has been practicing veterinary medicine in Texas since graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Her first experience with Acupuncture in pets was with her own pet while attending the University of Florida back in 2003. She attended a short TCVM course with Dr Xie, founder of the Chi Institute, early on in her veterinary career and began to use this knowledge to help pets stay healthy. Happily, Dr. McCamish became a Certified Fear Free Veterinary Professional in 2018. Since then she has looked for ways to minimize stress in her patients. In 2022, Dr. Mcamish became certified in Canine Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society known as IVAS.
Dr McCamish stays connected to integrative veterinary medicine through People and Pets Integrative Therapy and the Everyday Acupuncture Vet Community and IVAS congress. She joined the Conscious Animal Lovers Movement (CALM) in 2025.
